Cape Assist Invites Upper Township for a Spooky, Free Movie Night

Upper Township, NJ – Cape Assist, in partnership with Upper Township Municipal Alliance Committee, is bringing the Halloween spirit to Upper Township residents with a “Reels on Wheels” movie night, Saturday Oct. 22 at Amanda’s Field.

A screening of Beetlejuice will bring a fun, family-friendly alternative to the township’s roster of weekend events. Events such as this one offer residents a chance to get out and have fun in a substance-free environment. They can also learn more about substance misuse and prevention from Cape Assist experts on site.

“It’s one thing to teach people about making healthy decisions, but we also want to offer the opportunity to make them,” says Tusa Magalogo-Fitisimanu, Cape Assist Director of Communications. “Community events like these remind people that we don’t need to rely on other recreational substances to have a good time. Our communities are vibrant and full of fun that Cape Assist is happy to assist in providing!”

This event is held in association with Upper Township, The Quit Center at Cape Assist, and The Alliance to Prevent Alcoholism and Drug Abuse to provide safe and healthy choices for community residents. Gates will open at 6 PM and the movie will start at 7 PM. The screening is free, but registration at www.capeassist.org/events is required for a night of community fun!
