Cape Assist Seeks Sponsors for their Annual Trees of Hope Dedication

WILDWOOD, NJ - Cape Assist is kicking off the month of December by lighting the night for their annual Trees of Hope event. Dedicated to those celebrating their recovery, those struggling with substance misuse, and those who have lost their battle against addiction, the event provides an opportunity to show support for families touched by addiction and allow community members to dedicate an ornament and/or sponsor a tree for their loved one.

On Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022, sixteen trees will be illuminated in the Cape Assist parking lot, providing a glowing visual representation of hope to anyone battling an addiction. The tree display also includes ornaments dedicated to honor or memorialize a loved one. These ornaments and trees will serve as symbols of hope for those who have been touched by addiction, those striving for a better tomorrow – for themselves, their families, and their community – and are a shining remembrance of those who have lost their battle with addiction.

The event will include a 30-minute tree lighting ceremony that will begin at 5:30pm. The display will stay lit at Cape Assist through the month of December to help individuals and families touched by addiction get through the holidays and to find the joy of the season. Ornaments will be available for pick-up after the New Year.
