Cape May Captain Paul Skill Graduates From Prestigious Academy
Capt. Paul Skill graduated from the 258th Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico Virginia on Dec. 19.

Captain Paul Skill of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office graduated from the 258th Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico Virginia on Dec. 19, Cape May County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor announced on Monday.
Skill’s law enforcement career began in 1991, and he is now one of 47,898 to have graduated from the program since it began in 1935.
He received training in leadership, psychology, officer involved shootings, drug enforcement strategies, and communications.

“It has definitely been one of the highlights of my career and I look forward to utilizing the knowledge and experience that I gained, from not only the classroom, but from my fellow classmates, to better serve the community,” Skill said.
Taylor commended Skill for his leadership and dedication, which he said improves the excellent standing of the Prosecutor’s Office in the Law Enforcement Community.

This session consisted of 215 men and women from 49 states, 26 international countries, three military organizations and four federal civilian organizations.
The National Academy Program, held at the FBI Academy, offers 11 weeks of advanced investigative, management and fitness training for selected officers with proven records as professionals within their agencies.
Only the top 1 percent of law enforcement officers nationwide are selected on an invitation-only basis.
