Cape May County Government: County Commissioners Honor Victims of 9-11 with Solemn Ceremony

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NJ. – Cape May County Commissioners honored the victims of 9-11 at a solemn ceremony held at the 9-11 Memorial Garden located in front of the William E. Sturm Administration Building.
The Ceremony lead by Vice-Director Andrew Bulalowski included placing a wreath of remembrance followed by a moment of silence to reflect on the tragedy that took the lives of 2,977 people. who died as a result of a terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.

The Commissioners Bobby Barr, Melanie Collette, and Will Morey joined Vice-Director Bulakowski in acknowledging the 2,753 innocent victims who perished at the World Trade Center in New York, including 343 firefighters, along with Wildwood Crest resident, Andrew Alameno. There were 184 who lost their lives at the Pentagon in Washington DC, and 40 individuals on Flight 93, who died in a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
The County Commissioners will participate in Patriot Day ceremonies in remembrance and honoring the victims and heroes of 9-11, held throughout the day in countywide municipalities.
