The Cape May County Zoo has several exciting events upcoming over the next couple of months. The annual Boo at the Zoo will take place on Oct. 28 from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M., where visitors of all ages are invited to wear a costume to this fun family event, which includes activities for the kids, craft station, games, candy, entertainment, animals, inflatable obstacle course, and more. Then, Nov. 11, its Pirates and Princesses taking over the Zoo from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Visitors of all ages are invited to wear their best dress up apparel to this exciting event, which includes activities for the kids, craft station, games, entertainment, inflatable pirate ship and of course animals! Finally, Nov. 25, will be Santa’s Tree Lighting Celebration, which is planned from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Join the Holiday festivities with Santa’s village shopping, live music and carolers, ice sculpture carving, and lots of family friendly free entertainment.

The Cape May County Health Department is beginning its annual Flu Shot clinics across the County. It will begin on Oct. 15 from 8 A.M. to Noon at St. Francis Cabrini in Ocean City. The Clinics are currently scheduled at various locations until Nov. 17 at the Cape May County Library Cape May Court House branch. The Cape May County Department of Health and the New Jersey Cancer Education and Early Detection will be holding a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk at the Cape May County Park and Zoo on Oct. 29. Registration will begin at 8:30 A.M. with the walk starting at 9:15 A.M. There is free registration and free t-shirts as supplies last. Donations are welcomed and will go to the American Cancer Society. Visit cmchealth.net for more details.
