Cape May County Zoo Named One Of America's Highest Quality Zoos
Full accreditation from the two major zoo accrediting bodies in the U.S. means that the Cape May County Zoo is one of the best there is.
CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NJ — The Cape May County Zoo is now among the best in the nation after two recent accreditations.
"We are excited to report that after a grueling years-long process that included applications, inspections and hearings, that the Cape May County Zoo has been granted full accreditation by both the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) and the Zoological Association of America (ZAA)," the zoo shared.
The two organizations represent the two major accrediting bodies for zoos in the country. Only ten in the entire country have been accredited by both the AZA and ZAA, according to the Press of Atlantic City.

"Being dually accredited ensures our community members that the County Zoo provides the highest levels of animal care and that our institution is one of the highest quality Zoos in the US," the Cape May County Zoo said.
The Cape May County Zoo, located at 707 North Route 9, Cape May Court House, has been named one of the best zoos in the world by TripAdvisor. The zoo has more than 550 animals and admission is free. It gets thousands of visitors each year.
