The Ocean City Marlin & Tuna Club and the Ocean City Yacht Club will sponsor their annual charity fishing event for children Sunday.

The Ocean City Marlin & Tuna Club and the Ocean City Yacht Club will co-sponsor their 24th annual charity fishing event for children from the Philadelphia Variety Club, USO, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters organizations.

“Over 100 children, along with their parents and brothers and sisters, will enjoy a day of fishing on the waters surrounding Ocean City,” Ocean City Public Relations Director Mark Soifer said.

A total of 20 sports fishing boats owned by members from the two clubs are scheduled to arrive at the Yacht Club at 8 a.m. to pick up the families, and then cruise to fishing areas in the Great Egg Harbor Bay and the ocean off Ocean City.
