Christie Got THIS Funny Response To His 'Bring A Mop' Blizzard Flooding Comment

A N.J. merchant had a funny retort to Gov. Christie's statement: "Do you want me to go down there [blizzard floods] and bring a mop?"

Zippy’s had quite a zinger.

Gov. Chris Christie took heat for a remark he made about N.J. flooding, saying there wasn’t much more he could do as he returned to the campaign trail.

“I don’t know what you expect me to do. Do you want me to go down there with a mop?” he told a former N.J. resident at a N.H. campaign stop (view his mop comment here.)

Zippy’s Bike Shop in Wildwood had what some may feel was a perfect retort to Christie’s comments:

Gov. Christie has drawn some heavy criticism since he initially said he didn’t want to leave the presidential campaign trail ahead of this weekend’s blizzard in New Jersey.

He changed his mind and came back. But he left again, around the time people were complaining about heavy flooding in coastal areas.

The criticism only continued on the campaign trail. Christie’s sharp “mop” rebuke was directed toward a young woman in New Hampshire who asked a question about his handling of the storm response.
