Christie 'Kicked Off' Quiet Amtrak Train Car After 'Yelling,' Report Says

Governor reportedly said, "This is frickin' ridiculous," and, "Seriously?! Seriously?!" while drinking a McDonald's strawberry smoothie.

Gov. Chris Christie allegedly got kicked off a quiet Amtrak train car Sunday because he was yelling at his cell phone, according to media reports.

He nearly missed his 9:55 a.m. Amtrak train from Washington D.C. to New York and didn’t get the seat he wanted on the train before he got kicked out of the quiet car, according to a Gawker report.

Alexander Mann, a passenger on his way home to Manhattan, was traveling in the quiet car when Christie got on, and promptly got off, telling Gawker:

“He got on last minute yelling at his two secret service agents I think because of a seat mixup, sat down and immediately started making phone calls on the quiet car. After about 10 minutes the conductor asked him to stop or go to another car.”

He then got up, walked out again while yelling at his secret service and drinking a McDonald’s strawberry smoothie, according to the report.

Mann said he overheard Christie repeatedly saying, “This is frickin’ ridiculous,” and, “Seriously?! Seriously?!” over the phone, according to a Gothamist report.

Efforts to reach the governor’s office were not immediately successful.
