CMC Chamber Education Foundation Names John Lynch as 2023 Honoree

Cape May County, NJ - The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation has selected John Lynch of Wildwood Crest as the 2023 FORE Education Golf Tournament Honoree.

John Lynch is well known throughout Cape May County and all of South Jersey for his volunteer efforts and specifically supporting children and families through the Lunch With Lynch Foundation – a journey which began when he was invited to be a guest reader at Glenwood Avenue Elementary School in North Wildwood sixteen years ago.

“The opportunity to recognize and honor someone like John Lynch whose own philanthropic efforts are rooted in encouraging children to read is very exciting,” according to Terry Budd, President of the Chamber’s Education Foundation.

John Lynch is the Director of Sales and Entertainment of the Wildwoods Convention Center. “Offering positive opportunities for our youth has been very important to me professionally and personally. As part of the Wildwoods Convention Center Team, in the past 22 years, we have hosted over 500 youth events that have attracted thousands of kids and young adults to Cape May County,” said Lynch.

Proceeds from the FORE Education Golf Tournament are dedicated to scholarships, workforce development programs and continuing education for professional training.
