Coast Guard Rescues 4 Boogie Boarders Off Strathmere Coast
They were swept out to sea off Corson Inlet Wednesday night.

Thanks to the vigilance of a Good Samaritan, the Coast Guard was able to rescue four female boogie boarders who were swept out to sea off the coast of Strathmere Wednesday night.
Coast Guard watchstanders diverted two Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City MH-65 Dolphin helicopter air crews from training flights to respond to a report from a Good Samaritan of the boogie boarders who were swept out to sea off Corson Inlet near Strathmere at about 7:26 p.m.
Two more Good Samaritans attempted to help the boogie boarders, but were capsized. They were wearing life jackets and swam to shore.
