Coastal Flood Advisory Remains In Effect For Ocean City
Tide levels were expected to peak at 9:48 a.m.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Tide levels were expected to peak at 9:48 a.m. as a Coastal Flood Advisory remained in effect until 2 p.m. in Ocean City. Levels had already exceeded what was expected on Friday and Saturday, Ocean City officials said in a special weather statement issued Sunday morning.
"Residents should be prepared to move vehicles from areas that typically experience flooding," officials said. "The roads closer to the beach including Central and Wesley avenues are at higher elevation. These roads also offer the safest routes of travel across the length of the island. Street flooding may last for several hours after high tide. Never attempt to drive through flood waters."
