Couple Gets Married In Eagles Jerseys On Ocean City Beach

OCEAN CITY, NJ — A day after seeing their team win a Thursday Night Football game, two Eagles fans marked an even happier occasion. A bride and groom got married while wearing Eagles jerseys Friday night on an Ocean City beach.

Joe Reese Jr. grew up in South Philadelphia before moving to San Diego, where he met Heather, according to 6 ABC. He managed to convert her into an Eagles fan. They were introduced at the reception to the Birds' fight song, "Fly, Eagles Fly."

Heather wore a Nick Foles jersey, as Joe donned his Brian Dawkins attire. The couple sent the team a wedding invitation and received a note in return, according to 6 ABC:
