UPPER TOWNSHIP, NJ — CVS will test for the coronavirus at 56 New Jersey locations starting Friday, including its Upper Township store. The sites will use self-swab tests as CVS Health expands to 1,000 test sites across the country.

Patients must register in advance at CVS.com beginning Friday to schedule an appointment. Because of limited supplies, testing is limited to certain patients. But the registration process will show if you qualify.

Individuals must stay in their cars as they're directed to the pharmacy drive-thru window. CVS will provide a test kit with instructions, and a pharmacy employee will observe the self-swab test to ensure it's done properly.
