Date Set For Golf Outing To Raise Scholarship Money

The Atlantic Cape Foundation holds the annual golf outing that raises thousands of dollars for its community college students.

CAPE MAY, NJ — Save the date! The Atlantic Cape Foundation's Scramble ‘FORE’ Scholarships Golf Tournament will be held on Oct. 14 at Cape May National Golf Club.

Thousands of dollars are raised at this annual golf outing, going towards scholarships for Atlantic Cape Community College students. Last year, the tournament raised more than $61,000, according to the foundation.

The 2022 tournament will follow a scramble format, beginning with a shotgun-start at 11:30 a.m.

Fees are $175 for an individual golfer and $600 per team of four. This includes a complimentary gift, beverages, lunch and dinner.

A variety of skill challenges will be held, including closest-to-the-pin, chipping, putting, and longest drive.

Individuals and businesses who are maybe not skilled golfers can participate through sponsorship or advertising, which range from $200 to $5,000. To secure a sponsorship or register your team online, visit atlantic.edu/golf.
