Dedication Set For POW/MIA Chair Of Honor In Ocean City
The chair in the Ocean City Community Center atrium will serve as a reminder of those who served in the military but never returned home.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — All are invited to the dedication ceremony of a POW/MIA Chair of Honor in the atrium of the Ocean City Community Center.
The ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on June 14 at the Community Center, 1735 Simpson Ave.
The chair will serve as a reminder of all those who served in the military but never returned home.

The ceremony will take place on Flag Day and was coordinated by the city, VFW Ferguson-Foglio Post 6650 and American Legion Morvay-Miley-Cruice Post 524.
"I want to encourage all residents to attend on June 14, if you can take a few minutes out of your day," Mayor Jay Gillian said. "We are all grateful for the bravery and sacrifice of those who served our country, and it's important to remember those who became Prisoners of War or Missing in Action."
