BD: Since I was 7. I’ve been playing 10 years.
OCP: Were you always a linebacker?
BD: I used to play a lot of guard and a lot of defensive line. I didn’t start playing linebacker until the seventh grade.
OCP: What’s the secret to playing middle linebacker?
BD: Just to be physical and to have the nose for the football.
OCP: Do you ever miss playing on the offensive line?
BD: No, I love playing defense.
OCP: Do you have any superstitions before a game?
BD: No I don’t.
OCP: How do prepare right before a game?
BD: I just listen to my music and focus with my teammates. We talk over the defensive plans and plays. Other than that, I listen to my iPod.
OCP: What do you listen to?
BD: Mostly rap and some rock.
OCP: Any special reason why you wear your jersey number?
BD: I wear 53. My original number until I was a sophomore was 55. When we switched jerseys, there was no 55, so I just chose the closest thing to 55 and kept it all three years.
OCP: What is your favorite class?
BD: My American Government class.
OCP: What do you do for fun off the football field?
BD: I like to hang out with my friends and spend a lot of time at the gym.
OCP: What are your plans for next year?
BD: Right now I’m sending out as many tapes out as I can to get recruited for a (NCAA Division I-AA or Division II) school. We will see what happens. I definitely want to play college football.
OCP: If you can write the script for Thursday, how does it end?
BD: With me leaving 110-percent out on the field, leaving everything I have and us getting that win.
