Bobby Cardona, 46, of Trenton, was driving a 2007 Ford Econoline van northbound on the Garden State Parkway around mile marker 33 when he lost control of the van, according to nj.com.
The van drove off the side of the road and struck a tree, according the report.

Cardona suffered serious injuries and was taken to Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point where he was pronounced dead at 5 p.m., according to The Press of Atlantic City.
No other injuries were reported in the accident, which prompted troopers to close down a section of the highway for about 30 minutes. No big travel problems were reported, according to the report.
