Somers Point Spot Makes 2nd Appearance On 'Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives'
Check out Guy Fieri's second visit to the Anchorage Tavern in Somers Point this Friday on the Food Network.
SOMERS POINT, NJ — It's time to head to Flavortown. Beloved Somers Point restaurant the Anchorage Tavern will be featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" airing on Aug. 19 on the Food Network.
This isn't the first time that the renowned spot has been featured on the show. Guy Fieri stopped there back in 2015 and raved about their seafood. And apparently, it was so good that he had to come back for more.
"We were very appreciative of the film crew who came out earlier this year and made this possible," the Anchorage Tavern wrote in a Facebook post announcing the episode.

The Anchorage Tavern is the oldest continuously-operating restaurant in Somers Point - it opened all the way back in the late 1800s. It's well-known for its incredible seafood but for its bar fare as well, especially the mozzarella sticks.
Tune into the Food Network on Friday at 9 p.m. to see this local favorite make another appearance with Fieri.
