E-Z Pass Booth To Open At Ocean City-Longport Bridge Monday

Three others will follow in May and one final booth will open in June, according to CBS 3.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The first of five E-ZPass toll booths at Cape May County bridges will open next week. The booths had been delayed for nearly a year after they were expected to be installed on June 1.

The first one opens at the Ocean City-Longport Bridge on Monday, April 30, CBS 3 reports. Three more will open in May and the final one at Townsends Inlet will open June 25.

Booths will also be installed on the Middle Thorofare Bridge, Grassy Sound Bridge and Corson’s Inlet Bridge. The $500,000 contract was initially awarded in February of last year, but was delayed so as not to disrupt summer traffic. The toll will be $1.50 in one direction at each of the bridges.
