Earth Day Event Set For Ocean City Community Center Saturday

Participants will be invited to make crafts out of recycled products such as plastic bottles, paper towel rolls and cardboard.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The Ocean City Environmental Commission will host a free, family-friendly Earth Day event on Saturday, April 21, 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Howard S. Stainton Senior Center within the Ocean City Community Center at 18th Street and Simpson Avenue.

The event will focus on the younger generations. Participants will be invited to make crafts out of recycled products such as plastic bottles, paper towel rolls and cardboard. Music, videos and books will be age-appropriate and focus on "reduce, reuse, and recycling."
