Easter Weekend In Ocean City: Egg Hunt, Sunrise Service Among Holiday's Events
It all begins Thursday with the Living Last Supper.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The Easter Bunny hops into town this weekend. Easter Sunday is April 16, and there are still plenty of activities on tap for this weekend.
First up is the Living Last Supper, in which live actors sit frozen in place in a depiction of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting. One-by-one, they break their freeze to speak their mind on the fateful evening.
The scene is set up at the Ocean City Tabernacle auditorium on Thursday, April 13, and Friday, April 14, 7 p.m.

Although the first Great Egg Hunt of 2017 in the books, there is still one more chance to gather Easter eggs on the Ocean City Beach. The second hunt is Saturday, April 15, 2:30 p.m. Thousands upon thousands of eggs will be placed in areas of the beach between 11th Street and 14th Street.
Age categories include: 2-and-under (at 11th Street), 3 years old (at 11th Street), 4 years old (at 12th Street), 5 years old (at 12th Street), 6 and 7 years old (at 13th Street).

An area for children with special needs will be set up closest to 14th Street. Rain date is April 16. The first Egg Hunt was held on April 8. For more information, visit www.oceancityvacation.com or call 1-800-BEACH-NJ.
Get an early start on Easter Sunday with the non-denominational Sunrise Service on the Music Pier on Sunday, 6:30 a.m. All are welcome.
Following the service, everyone is encouraged to don their holiday Sunday best at the Easter Promenade on Sunday, April 16, in front of the Ocean City Music Pier on the boardwalk at Moorlyn Terrace. Judging begins at 1 p.m.
The annual event pays tribute to an era when families showed off their finery during strolls on the boardwalk. No registration is required ahead of time, and all are welcome to enter.
Awards will be given the following age categories: newborn-to-2, 3-to-5, 6-to-8 and 9-to-12. Other divisions include: Best Dressed Teen Male, Best Dressed Teen Female, Best Dressed Gentleman, Best Dressed Woman, Best Dressed Couple, Most Unusual Bonnet, Best Easter Bonnet, Best Dressed Family.
The Philly Keys, a dueling piano act, will perform in front of the Music Pier starting at noon. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photographs after the Promenade.
