Egg Harbor Twp. MVC Closes After Positive Coronavirus Test
An employee tested positive for the virus, and the licensing center won't reopen until next Wednesday.
EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — An employee at the Motor Vehicle Commission Licensing Center in the Cardiff section of town tested positive for the coronavirus, the MVC announced Tuesday evening. The facility will reopen next Wednesday.
The employee last came to work Oct. 13.
Other MVC Centers in Runnemede, Delanco, Eatontown and Manahawkin remain closed after an employee from each location tested positive for COVID-19. As many as seven MVC centers were closed last week for that reason.

Upon closure, each facility gets thoroughly cleaned and will reopen once enough employees are available following required quarantines, the MVC says.
