Eight Rescued From Early-Morning Fire Near Ocean City Boardwalk: Report

Eight people were rescued from an early-morning fire at a home on Saint Charles Place, according to reports.

According to 6ABC, a fire was reported around 1:45 a.m. at a three-story house on the street’s 900 block, which is near the boardwalk.

When firefighters arrived, they reportedly rescued eight people who were on outside decks. Seven people, including one firefighter, were injured, 6ABC said.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
