Election Day is Nov. 7. Here's what Ocean City residents need to know.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Election Day is Nov. 7, and Ocean City residents head to the polls to elect local and federal representatives.
Voters are able to vote by mail, early in-person and in-person on Election Day.

What And Who Are On The Ballot
- State Senate - 1st Legislative District: Republican incumbent Michael Testa is challenged by Democrat Charles L. Laspata.
- General Assembly - 1st Legislative District: Republican incumbents Erik Simonsen and Antwan McClellan are challenged by Democrats Damita White-Morris and Eddie L. Bonner.
- Sheriff: Republican Robert A. Nolan is running unopposed.
- Surrogate: Vote one for a five-year term. Republican incumbent E. Marie Hayes (sworn in this past July) is challenged by Democrat Beverly McCall.
- Board of Commissioners: Vote two for a three-year term. Republican incumbent Will Morey is joined by Melanie Collette. Democrat Patricia O'Connor is also running. There is one two-year unexpired term available. The only candidate is Republican Bob Barr.
- City Council - 4th Ward: Vote one for a six-month unexpired term. The only candidate is Dave Winslow.
- Ocean City Board of Education: Three seats are open for three-year terms. Incumbent Robin Shaffer is running on the "Conservative Family Values" tickets with Steve Flogaus and Kevin Schaffer. Incumbent Cecilia Gallelli-Keyes is running on the "Leadership, Dependability, Trust" slogan. Michael Allegretto is running on the "Traditional Family Values" slogan. Jocelyn Palaganas and Corey Niemiec are running without slogans.
