Elections 2016: 4 Candidates to Run for 3 Open Seats on Ocean City Board of Education

Ocean City, NJ -- Four candidates are running for three open seats on the Ocean City School District’s Board of Education.

Greg Whelan and Tiffany Prettyman filed their petitions to run for re-election in November by the Monday afternoon deadline, according to the county clerk’s office.

Dale F. Braun Jr. and Paul Jenkins are also running for the three-year seats.

Board member Jon Batastini didn’t file to run for re-election.

Friday, July 29, is the deadline to challenge a candidate’s petition.

Election Day is Nov. 8.
