Astronomy for Everyone:Size and Scale of the Universe

Award-winning Astrophysicist and national lecturer, Kevin Manning, is passionate about transporting people of all ages into a fascinating world beyond their own. Kevin, a former consultant with NASA, expertly guides young and old on an educational and entertaining exploration of the universe, the stars and other celestial wonders. For the next 1 ½ hours you can escape this turbulent world and get a refreshing and bigger perspective by looking up to the stars. Kevin uses an engaging style, hands-on activities and assorted visuals throughout this fascinating exploration and treats his audience to an amazing view of the rings of Saturn and other jewels of the night sky through a powerful telescope, weather permitting!  Entry to the Lecture Hall is located on the 17^th Street side of the library.
