Artist Michele Pasciullo demonstrates the art of mosaic making at Stainton's Gallery of Shops 810 Asbury Ave., Ocean City, NJ at 12:00pm on Sunday June 14th. The program includes surface selection, material usage, material preparation, adhesive selection, and how to grout. A working example of each stage of the process will be shown. The 30-minute lesson will end with a question and answer session.
A life-long artist, Michele earned her degree in graphic design from Cumberland County College in 2005. She discovered the mosaic medium about 4 years ago. Although much of what she has learned has been self-taught, Michele has attended classes at Wheaton Arts and at Philadelphia's Magic Gardens.
Michele shares her love of mosaic through workshops and demonstrations as well as teaching locally at libraries and at Glazed Over Studio on Asbury Avenue in Ocean City. You can also find her artwork on display at Purple Lotus Mosaics located in Stainton's Gallery of Shops.
