The Ocean City Free Public Library is pleased to present a TEDMEDtalk by Dr. C. Noel Bairey Merz, Director of the Women's Heart Center at the Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute. Dr. Merz gives a riveting talk on the fact that since 1984 more women die of heart disease than men—and now it is significantly more. She shares what we know and don’t about women’s heart health—including the remarkably different symptoms women present during a heart attack—and why a women’s heart attack is often missed.
The talk on DVD will be held in the Library’s Lecture Room N110. A discussion will take place after the Lecture. Entry to the Lecture Room is located on the 17th Street side of the library. Admission is free.
