An award-winning writer and broadcaster, Ben Goldacre was trained in medicine at Oxford and London and now works full time as a physician. Since 2003, he has written the weekly Bad Science column in The Guardian, where he debunks any and all unfounded scientific claims made by parties from governments to journalists and pharmaceutical companies.
The talk on DVD will be held in the Library’s Lecture Room N110 on Thursday August 23, 2012 at 11:00am. A discussion will take place after the Lecture. Entry to the Lecture Room is located on the 17th Street side of the library. Admission is free.
