Exchange Club Fishing Tournament in Ocean City Saturday
Proceeds benefit the "Success by Six" program.

The Exchange Club of Ocean City hosts its 29th annual Fishing Tournament on Saturday, July 18, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
The Boat registration fee is $175 and all proceeds benefit the “Success by Six” program, which prepares Ocean City children in need to enter kindergarten ready to learn and Family Promise of Cape May County, which assists children and families in times of need or crisis.
The top prize for the heaviest Flounder is $1,000 and the top prize for the heaviest Bluefish is $1,000.

In the last year, the Exchange Club of Ocean City has donated more than $80,000 in support of children, community and country, the club said. The Club donated $5,000 from the proceeds of last year’s fishing tournament to the Tab Son Club after-school program that is sponsored by the Ocean City Tabernacle.
The Exchange Club of Ocean City plays a significant role in the Miss Ocean City Pageant, the Spring and Fall Ocean City block parties, the local visit in Marmora by the Cole Brothers Circus, the Ocean City Halloween parade, the Roger LaRosa Golf Classic, and the Book of Golden Deeds.

It has also installed in various public buildings Freedom Shrines, which are a collection of framed historical American documents to memorialize our nation’s greatest achievements. The Freedom Gallery is currently on display in the Ocean City Free Public Library.
