Festival of Fine Art and Handicrafts In Ocean City This Weekend
The All-American Festival of Fine Art and Handicrafts will be held on Saturday and Sunday on the Music Pier.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — What is believed to be the only festival in the region in which every offering is made in the U.S. by the person in the booth returns to Ocean City this weekend. The All-American Festival of Fine Art and Handicrafts will be held on Saturday and Sunday, April 22 and 23, on the Ocean City Music Pier. The festival will run from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. each day.
Items will include jewelry, glass, watercolors, oil paintings, beach and bay photography, copper garden fountains, candles, soaps, lotions, leather goods, gourmet food items, baked treats, wood carvings, floral arrangements, seashore décor, among other items.
Admission is $3, and benefits the Ocean City Ecumenical Council Food Cupboard, Atlantic City Rescue Mission, Salvation Army and Shore Medical Center.

Artisans Guild events have raised $344,207 for local charities in their history. Free parking is available just off the Boardwalk at Eighth Street, Moorlyn Terrace and Ninth Street.

The attached images were provided by Ocean City officials. Cher Schreiber, of Brigantine, carves reclaimed cedar into creatures of the sea -- from whales and turtles to seahorses and dolphins. She uses starfish to create flags. Every piece is painted, framed and ready for hanging. She will display at the All-American Festival of Fine Art and Handicrafts.
