Fireworks, $20 Wristbands At Playland's Castaway Cove In Ocean City

Castaway Cove celebrates the end of summer this weekend.

Ocean City, NJ -- Columbus Day Weekend marks the end of the season for Playland’s Castaway Cove, and the amusement park is closing with a bang.

Playland will celebrate the summer with a fireworks display Saturday night, Oct. 8, 9 p.m. Fireworks will go off at the 9th Street Beach.

There will also be four hours of unlimited rides with $20 wristbands on Saturday and Sunday.

Wristbands will be $20 during the following timeslots:

The park will also be open on Friday, Oct. 7, 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m., but there won’t be any $20 wristband sales that day.

Additionally, half-price ticket sales will be in effect from Nov. 25-Jan. 1.
