Former Flyers To Visit Ocean City For A Day Of Hockey Fun And Games

Brad Marsh, Todd Fedoruk and Doug Crossman will visit the island on Tuesday.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Three former Philadelphia Flyers will come to Ocean City to promote the sport of ice hockey this week.

The Philadelphia Flyers Caravan will come to the basketball courts on the beach block of Sixth Street on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Brad Marsh, Todd Fedoruk and Doug Crossman will pay a visit to America’s Greatest Family Resort. They will host alumni-run clinics and shoot-arounds tailgate games and a bungee run.

They will bring an inflatable rink and host inflatable games and activities. Attendees will also get the chance to interact with Flyers Ice Girls and Fun Patrol members, among other activities.

The event, which is designed to support youths across the country and promote the sport, is free and open to fans of all ages.

Marsh was a defenseman who appeared in the 1985 and 1986 Stanley Cup Finals with the Flyers. Fedoruk played in 220 games as a Flyer from 2000-2004, and helped lead the Philadelphia Phantoms to the Calder Cup championship during the NHL Lockout of 2004-05. Crossman played with the Flyers from 1983-88, and was part of the Canada Cup Canadian National Team in 1987.
