Former Villanova Assistant Coach Now Ocean City Girls Swim Coach
Stephen Warrington takes over for Katie Merz, the program's all-time winningest coach.
Former Villanova University assistant coach Stephen Warrington is the new Ocean City High School girls swim coach, the Ocean City Gazette reports.
He will be the sixth coach in the program’s history, taking over for Katie Merz, who is moving to Connecticut to be closer to family and friends, according to the report.
Merz lead the team to back-to-back South Jersey titles, and is the program’s all-time winningest coach with 30 victories.
