Friday Night Concert Series in Ocean City Continues With the John Walter Cape Community Band

The Friday Night Concert Series continues at the Ocean City Free Public Library Friday nights through November.

This week’s performance, on Friday, Oct. 16, is the John Walter Cape Community band. All performances are free and take place in the senior center. All performances begin at 7 p.m.

Next week’s performance is a “Tribute to Irving Berlin,” with the Mary Lou Newnam Quartet, featuring Rosemary Benson, vocals; Mary Lou Newnam, saxophone and clarinet; Sonny Troy, guitar; Andy Lalasis, bass and Bob Shomo, drums.

The library is located at 17th and Simpson Avenue.
