Fun Events Set For This Weekend In Ocean City

Girls Weekend is back, and so is OC Con - there's no shortage of fun in Ocean City this weekend.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Get ready for a weekend of fun for all in Ocean City from March 24 through 26.

The favorite Girls Weekend kicks off Friday night with a fashion show. The fun continues through Sunday with shopping and dining specials, accommodation packages, wellness classes and more.

OC Con returns again this weekend, starting with the Super Hero Run and the Super Hero Obstacle Dash at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. You can find out more information about these fun races here.

Then, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, enjoy OC Con itself at the Music Pier. At this free event, fandom enthusiasts can meet Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, create their own lightsaber and even see a "Back to the Future" DeLorean.

All sorts of enjoyable activities are planned, with cosplay contests, fandom trivia and more.

Vendors will be selling toys, art prints, collectables and more. Featured artists include Marvel Comics' Bob Petrecca, NJ-based Tony DiGerolamo who has worked on "The Simpsons" comics, horror/science fiction writer Steven Farkas and many more.
