Greater Ocean City Theatre Company Sets Audition Dates

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City students entering 5th-12th grades have the chance to audition for two upcoming plays, the Greater Ocean City Theatre Company announced this week. Auditions for “Seussical Jr.” and “Pippin!” will be held at Ocean City Theatre Company, 1501 West Avenue, on Saturday, May 6, and Sunday, May 7. The production teams for both shows are made up of leading professionals and educators in the theatre industry.

High school students will also be considered for the Greater Ocean City Theatre Company’s award winning Spotlight Performers Show Choir. This select group of singers and dancers will perform in Ocean City’s July 4th Festivities, the Baby Parade, Night in Venice and many other special community events.

Anyone interested in auditioning should prepare 32 bars or about 30 seconds of any musical theatre song. They should also bring sheet music or a CD with a background track. A piano player will be provided.
