Nearly a month after approving a new logo for the high school, the Ocean City Board of Education is considering new designs that will show the red bird at different stages of life, the Ocean City Gazette reports.

The new logo for the high school depicts a raptor, but the school district believes that is too fearsome for the intermediate and primary schools, according to the report.

Instead, the logos for those two schools will feature the bird at different stages of life, so that it feels like the bird is growing up with the students, according to the report.

The board meets Wednesday night.
