Guarded Beaches This Week In Ocean City
Only a few beaches will be guarded Sept. 12 through Sept. 18. Check out the full list below:
OCEAN CITY, NJ — Unfortunately, summer is really over now, here in Ocean City. Kids are going back to school and life is starting to slow down and get quiet. However, it's the perfect time for local summer! And if you plan on celebrating, make sure you only swim at one of these guarded beaches.
For Sept. 12 through Sept. 18, here are the guarded beaches:
- St. Charles (Saturday & Sunday Only)
- 8th Street
- 9th Street
- 10th Street (Saturday & Sunday Only)
- 11th Street (Saturday & Sunday Only)
- 12th Street (Saturday & Sunday Only)
- 34th Street (Saturday & Sunday Only)
The Ocean City Beach Patrol will guard beaches from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekends and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Mobile EMS and water-rescue response teams will be stationed on the beach.
