Guess Who Showed Up In A South Jersey Town? Oprah (Videos)

The TV celebrity and media mogul made a most surprising visit in this NJ town. And she spoke. Watch the videos.

Oprah's not just famous in Chicago. Or across America, for that matter. A small South Jersey town also has a lot of pride for her.

Oprah Winfrey joined her longtime partner, Stedman Graham, for an annual reunion in his hometown of Whitesboro, an unincorporated community within Middle Township in Cape May County, this Labor Day weekend.

Graham is also the executive director and a founder of Concerned Citizens of Whitesboro. It was the group's 30th annual reunion, and she made a similar appearance 5 years ago at the group's 25th annual reunion.

Oprah also posted videos of the event on Instagram, where a 100-year-old woman told her the key to living a long life is "washing your face in cold water."

The police and local officials encouraged her to speak, even though she wasn't scheduled to, to talk about trying to keep children off the streets and away from crime. She talked about how she started a school for girls in South Africa.

"There would be no taking the knee, no protests about police departments in America, if all the police departments took on the idea of addressing what happened to you as a child," Winfrey said in a video recorded of the Saturday event (see below).
