BREAKING: The bridge was closed late Wednesday afternoon.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The 9th Street Bridge Westbound is down to one lane Wednesday evening, according to Ocean City police. Both eastbound lanes are open, and drivers are advised to proceed with caution.
After an onslaught of heavy rain early Wednesday afternoon, there was flooding all across Ocean City, according to Ocean City Police Department Capt. Steven Ang.
With the high tide that came in and heavy rains, water isn’t receding and areas that don’t normally flood are seeing flood waters, Ang said.
