Here's When ACE Will Begin Installing Reclosers In Ocean City

Atlantic City Electric will continue installing reclosers in Ocean City next week, officials said. The equipment is being installed to reduce the number of power outages in Ocean City.

Recloser installation will require service interruptions as crews replace poles, transformers and wires this winter. Here is the tentative schedule for service interruptions from Jan. 21 to 25, weather permitting:

• Monday: 5th St. & Atlantic Ave.
• Tuesday a.m.: 5th St. & Atlantic Ave.
• Tuesday p.m.: 6th St. & Asbury Ave.
• Wednesday: 6th St. & Asbury Ave.
• Thursday: On West Ave. between 11th & 12th Streets
• Friday: On 14th St. Between West & Simpson Avenues
