Here's When ACE Will Install Reclosers In Ocean City

Atlantic City Electric will continue installing reclosers in Ocean City next week, officials said. The equipment is being installed to reduce the number of power outages in Ocean City.

Recloser installation will require service interruptions as crews replace poles, transformers and wires this winter. The work will also require road closing and detours around the blocks where work is taking place.

Here is the tentative schedule for service interruptions for March 11 to 15 — weather permitting:

• Monday-Tuesday: Gull Rd. & E Atlantic Blvd.
• Tuesday-Wednesday: On Atlantic Avenue between St Charles Place and St. James Place
• Wednesday-Friday: On Corinthian between 2nd and 3rd streets and on Delancey between the Ocean and Atlantic avenues.
