Here's When ACE Will Install Reclosers In Ocean City
Atlantic City Electric is installing special equipment to reduce the number of customers affected by power outages.
OCEAN CITY, N.J. — Atlantic City Electric will continue installing reclosers in Ocean City next week, officials said. The equipment is being installed to reduce the number of power outages in Ocean City.
Recloser installation will require service interruptions as crews replace poles, transformers and wires this winter. Here is the tentative schedule for service interruptions from April 8 to 12, weather permitting:
- Monday-Tuesday: 55th Street off West Avenue
- Tuesday- Wednesday: 54th Street back alley
- Wednesday- Thursday: 51st Street off West Avenue
- Thursday-Friday: On West between 50th and 51st streets
