Here's When ACE Will Install Reclosers In Ocean City
Atlantic City Electric is installing special equipment to reduce the number of customers affected by power outages.
OCEAN CITY, N.J. — Atlantic City Electric will continue installing reclosers in Ocean City next week, officials said. The equipment is being installed to reduce the number of power outages in Ocean City.
Recloser installation will require service interruptions as crews replace poles, transformers and wires this winter. The work will also require road closing and detours around the blocks where work is taking place.
Here is the tentative schedule for service interruptions for April 22 to 26 — weather permitting:

- Monday-Tuesday: On 55th St. between Asbury & Central Avenues
- Tuesday-Wednesday: On Asbury Avenue between 55th & 54th Streets
- Wednesday-Thursday: On Asbury Avenue between 48th & 49th Streets
- Thursday-Friday: Central Avenue & 50th Street
