Hunt Eggs, Meet Easter Bunny This Weekend In Ocean City
It's an "egg"stravaganza this weekend as Ocean City welcomes spring.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — It's officially spring, and what better way to celebrate what Ocean City has to offer than by hunting for eggs and meeting the Easter Bunny?
The first of Ocean City's two Great Egg Hunts returns to the Boardwalk this weekend on March 23, with a rain date of March 24. Participating merchants will invite children up to age seven to visit stores with their families to collect eggs filled with toys, treats and prizes.
This free event runs from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., or while supplies last. Flyers will direct families to participating stores to collect eggs trick-or-treat-style. Another Great Egg Hunt is scheduled for the same time on March 30, with a rain date of March 31 (which happens to be Easter Sunday). More information can be found on the Boardwalk Facebook page.

Additionally, the Easter Bunny will be visiting with children from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on March 23, 24 and 30 at Mark Soifer Park (corner of Ninth Street and Asbury Avenue). This event gives families a chance to take advantage of all that Ocean City’s downtown shopping and dining district has to offer.
And on Easter Sunday itself, the traditional non-denominational Sunrise Service starts at 6:30 a.m. at the Ocean City Music Pier. Then, the Philly Keys will perform their hit Dueling Pianos Show starting at 12 p.m. in front of the Music Pier, while the Easter Bunny will meet and greet children and be available for photos in an Ocean City lifeguard boat from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
