'Dinner On Me': Jersey Shore Mayor Apologizes To Kelces After Date Night Altercation

MARGATE CITY, NJ — Margate City's mayor is offering Jason and Kylie Kelce a free date night after their recent outing was interrupted by an angry fan who wanted a picture with the iconic Philadelphia couple.
The Kelces were trying to enjoy a date night at Steve and Cookie's By The Bay when a woman approached their Tesla and banged on the window, according to CBS Philadelphia.
When the power couple exited the car, the woman apparently asked for a photo and Kylie Kelce declined, causing the woman to become enraged.

Video posted shows the woman shouting at Kylie Kelce "you'll never be allowed in this town again" as Jason Kelce hangs back.
Kylie Kelce can be heard telling the woman "I can smell the alcohol on your breath, you're embarrassing yourself."

The news has gone viral on social media, sparking a response from Margate City Mayor Michael Collins.
"On behalf of the City of Margate, I'd like to formally apologize to Jason & Kylie Kelce for the experience they had in Margate City over the holiday weekend," Collins said in a statement. "As a father of young children, I know as well as anyone the importance of a date night with your wife and would like to offer a redo date night with dinner on me."
Atlantic County Commissioner Amy Gatto also supported the couple, sharing on Instagram that the Kelces are welcome in any of the county's 23 municipalities "at any time."
"We would be lucky and grateful to have you!" Gatto wrote, adding "Go Birds" at the end of the message.
