Job Fair, Easter Fun: See Upcoming Ocean City Events

The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a job fair this Saturday while tickets for summer programs go on sale.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — There's plenty of events coming up in Ocean City for the spring and summer.

The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce invites job seekers to the Ocean City Music Pier this Saturday, March 21. The event runs from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and offers residents a chance to connect with local and regional businesses.

Attendees can learn about various seasonal and summer job openings suitable for individuals of all ages. Free parking is available for visitors in the municipal lots at 8th Street, Moorlyn Terrace, and 9th Street. A wide range of employers will participate, including the Ocean City Beach Patrol, Shore Medical Center, Playland’s Castaway Cove, and various local retail and dining establishments.

Beyond employment opportunities, the city is preparing for a busy summer and spring schedule.

Tickets for the Greater Ocean City Theatre Company and the Ocean City Pops Orchestra production of "Sister Act" will go on sale at 9 a.m. March 17.

The musical features original songs by Alan Menken and will run for eight performances from August 4 to August 13 at the Bill and Nancy Hughes Performing Arts Center. Tickets are priced between $30 and $35 and can be purchased through the official municipal box office website.

The popular Girls Weekend Fashion Show is also approaching, with tickets slated for release at 9 a.m. March 17. The fashion show is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, April 10, at the Ocean City Yacht Club and serves as a kickoff for the broader Girls Weekend event held from April 10 to April 12.

Organizers noted that tickets for this fashion event are limited and encouraged early registration.

Looking ahead to the spring season, the city has scheduled a series of Easter activities for families and visitors. Children are invited to participate in the Great Egg Hunts on March 28 and April 4 at participating boardwalk stores.

Additionally, the annual non-denominational Easter Sunrise Service will take place at 6:30 a.m. April 5 at the Music Pier.

The Easter Dueling Pianos Show is also scheduled for Sunday, April 5, outside the Music Pier.
