Last Chance For Discounted Beach Tags In Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City is reminding residents and visitors that seasonal beach tags for summer 2026 remain on sale at the discounted price of $30 through Sunday, May 31. On Monday, June 1, the price for a seasonal tag increases to $35.

Beach tags are required for all beachgoers ages 12 and older and will be in effect from June 1, 2026, through September 7, 2026, according to the city notice. At this time, only seasonal beach tags are available for purchase. Weekly tags will cost $20 and daily tags will cost $10, but those options will be available during the season.

People can buy seasonal tags online at store.ocnj.us. Ocean City is also offering in-person sales at multiple locations across town.

At City Hall, 861 Asbury Ave., tags are sold from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. The Route 52 Welcome Center sells tags from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Ocean City Music Pier, on the Boardwalk at Moorlyn Terrace, is open for tag sales from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Additional in-person sales are available at the Henry Knight Building, 12th Street and Haven Avenue, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. The Aquatic & Fitness Center, at 17th Street and Simpson Avenue, offers sales from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The 46th Street Welcome Center is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday to Sunday.
